Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Recruitment Specialist with a strong background in maritime recruitment, specifically within the cruise ship industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a world-renowned ship management company that operates globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive candidate sourcing across multiple manning agencies and crew portals
- Perform initial candidate screenings with a strong emphasis on English language proficiency
- Coordinate candidate interviews with technical and marine departments
- Verify and authenticate seafarer certifications and documentation (Certificates of Competency and Discharge Books)
- Manage recruitment processes for both deck and engineering seafarer positions
- Maintain effective communication with clients, manning agencies, and internal offices
- Utilize social media and predictive indexing tools for recruitment strategies
- Review and process direct job applications to optimize recruitment costs
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 4-year degree (preferably in business or maritime studies)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in cruise ship or maritime recruitment with a Ship Management company or owner
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in documentation verification
Location Preference:
Based in Greece (preferred)- Candidates from Romania or Bulgaria will also be considered
