We are currently partnered with the shipping arm of a growing commodities business where the shipping department has it’s own P&L and is it’s own profit centre.
 
In this role you will be responsible for coordinating the operational activities of voyage and time chartered vessels ensuring compliance with the agreed charter party terms. You will also be required to handle the bunker planning and handle the voyage optimization.
 
They are currently on the lookout for a new Operator to join their team in Dubai and are targeting someone with a dry bulk operations background with circa 4-5 years’ operations experience ideally with exposure to both geared and gearless vessels. It will be required that you have IMOS experience (or similar) for this particular role as this is the operating systems that our client uses day to day.
 
For this role you should exposure to time and voyage charter operations and ideally have strong exposure to operating SMX and PMX vessels. Geared and Gearless vessel experience would be ideal but not a prerequisite for the position.
