Sustainability Analyst – London
  
Our client, a leading global logistics and shipping company, is looking to bring in a talented Sustainability Analyst to support their Sustainability Team in executing and delivering sustainability projects and activities across Europe and Africa.
  
Responsibilities:

• Support preparation work for the Sustainability Reporting Directive (SRD) project, including leading and coordinating sub-team activities, risk identification through data analysis, and assisting with project management tasks.
• Assist in ensuring regulatory compliance for sustainability/ESG-related legislation in the EU and UK, collaborating with internal teams and external consultants.
• Develop and implement sustainability/ESG initiatives in line with the company’s ESG strategy and Medium-Term Management Plan.
• Interpret data, examine existing policies, review industry trends, and provide recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge and experience in sustainability and ESG management.
• Prior experience in a similar data analysis or project management role.
• Basic understanding of the international shipping/logistics business.
• Ability to plan, launch, and manage new projects, including organizational structure and communication setup.
• Skilled in mapping out strategies, creating action plans, and collaborating with external professionals and internal teams.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong data analysis, research, report writing, and project management capabilities.
• Proficiency in Office 365, Teams, and data analytics tools.
• Business acumen, problem-solving, innovation, and continuous improvement mindset.

Location: Based in London (with occasional business travel).
