Since 2019, All About Shipping have run an annual Top 100 Women in Shipping list. This year there were 1,350 proposed participants! Huge congratulations are in order to everyone who made the list, this year, or in any previous year since its launch.
This Women’s History Month, we are celebrating all things female in the maritime industry and looking at initiatives from all across the globe that people are putting in place to help support women, #InspireInclusivity and much more. There is no better way to support International Women’s Day this year and inspire inclusivity than seeing a list celebrating women in the maritime industry and recognising them for all they do.
We spoke to a few of the women who made the list this year and got to know what being on the list means to them.

“It’s a great honour to be included in this list, which really does shine a light on many of the fabulous women working in our industry. It features a diverse group, representing of a wide range of roles spanning finance, law, insurance and regulatory affairs, as well some of the most prominent ship owners. It demonstrates the breadth of our industry and reminds us that first and foremost, shipping is people-based and built on relationships and trust. Thank you to all who voted for me and congratulations to all who feature on this list.”
