The year began quietly but in the last few weeks there are real signs that people are getting on with their plans now, particularly with executive vacancies in maritime.

We’ve just taken on some new executive instructions – Chief Executive for a dry bulk operating company – Chief Executive for a fleet of fishing trawlers – Head of Handysize for a major shipowner.

We’re still actively recruiting for major expansion project in a maritime litigation team at Watson Farley Williams; something that’s been ongoing for some time and we’ve had great success attracting four new partners plus assistants and very keen to recruit more equity partners for London and the Far East, and we’d be pleased to hear from anyone who’s contemplating a move.

We’re looking for two Crewing Directors, a Head of Risk, a Head of Chartering and Operations role in Dubai. We are also extremely busy at the moment with senior management-level roles which are a level below those other C-suite vacancies.

And finally, we are currently working on a number of senior level roles that we have to keep confidential, and these won’t appear on our website – so it is always worthwhile speaking to us to ensure you hear about these roles when they are relevant for you.
