The role involves managing H&M and general average claims from beginning to end. A key part of the role is to keep in constant communication with the ship owner and insurers, meeting them in person to build relationships and progress the claim through to completion.
The ideal candidate will have around 5 years marine claims experience, ideally hull and machinery, at either a marine insurance broker, ship agency or P&I club. The successful candidate will require a relevant insurance qualification such as CII or ACA.
