We are seeking an experienced Director and qualified solicitor (England & Wales) to lead and manage a marine team for a specialist shipping law firm in Newcastle. The ideal Solicitor must have 8+ years PQE and must have covered all types of marine matters, with extensive experience dealing with P&I and FD&D claims. 
  
As the key member of the legal team, you will be responsible for case reviews, management, research, legal advice, contract drafting, arbitration, court documents, and enforcement advice. As Director, you will also be required to maintain high standards, promote the firm’s interests, enhance existing practices, acquire new business, and manage an individual caseload.
