Are you an experienced commercial leader with a passion for driving business growth and retention within the maritime industry? We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Commercial Director to join our client based in the Middle East. 

This senior role involves leading the commercial function, developing and executing annual commercial plans, and pursuing new business opportunities. You will work closely with key accounts, provide strategic advice on joint ventures, and manage commercial reports and business intelligence. Frequent regional travel is required to ensure the continuous growth and success of our operations.

To be successful in this role, you must hold a bachelor’s degree from a maritime academy or have equivalent university qualifications, along with 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in commercial management within the maritime industry.

Proficiency in tender analysis, bid preparation, and financial management is essential. You will need advanced leadership skills. Fluency in English is mandatory, while proficiency in Arabic is a plus.

HSSEQ Manager-Middle East

Our client is looking for a Head of Fleet – HSSEQ to join their team in the Middle East. 

You will be responsible for ensuring that the managed vessels are managed and operated in full compliance with all applicable Flag State, International, National and Company requirements. Guaranteeing that effective systems and procedures are in place to monitor performance, compliance and dealing with shipping emergencies.

As well as this you will be responsible for enhancing the safety commitment of all Fleet office and onboard staff through effective engagement, interaction, and reflective learning.  

Bachelor’s degreeor First Class Master Mariner certificate is essential, as well as significant HSEQ experience in relevant oil & gas industry.

A Post Graduate Qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or a related discipline is preferred but not required.
