HSSEQ Manager

Our client is looking for a Head of Fleet – HSSEQ to join their team in the Middle East. 

You will be responsible for ensuring that the managed vessels are managed and operated in full compliance with all applicable Flag State, International, National and Company requirements, by guarenteeing that effective systems and procedures are in place to monitor performance, compliance and dealing with shipping emergencies.

As well as this you will be responsible for enhancing the safety commitment of all Fleet office and onboard staff through effective engagement, interaction, and reflective learning.  

Bachelor’s degreeor First Class Master Mariner certificate is essential, as well as significant HSEQ experience in relevant oil & gas industry.

A Post Graduate Qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or a related discipline is preferred but not required.

General Manager – Mumbai

Our client is looking for a General Manager to join their team based in India.
 
The General Manager is responsible for selecting and managing competent seafarers, controlling crewing costs, and ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
 
They must also foster relationships with stakeholders, promote innovation, and optimize crew management processes. Key performance indicators include retention rate and budget variance.
 
You will have at least 3 years’ experience in a senior management position as well as a Chief Engineers certificate of competency.
 
You must have Indian working entitlement.

Joint Ventures Manager – Middle East

Our client is looking for a Joint Ventures Manager to join their team based in the Middle East.

You will lead the Joint Ventures department and be responsible for the efficient management and operation of all the organisation’s LNG joint ventures while safeguarding the interests of the organisation and its shareholders. The focus should be on achieving goals such as cost-effectiveness, implementing best practices, and ensuring compliance with shareholder’s agreements.
 
Experience:
• Extensive experience in a Maritime organisation, some of which will have been in a leadership role.
• Prior expertise in the LNG sector and international JV operations is required.
• Previous familiarity of developing a business in the energy sector is required.
 
You will also have a Degree in International Trade or Business. An MBA will be an advantage.

Head of HR – Middle East

A well-established shipping company based in the Middle East is looking for a Head of Human Resources to bridge the gap between HR services and business goals.

The Head of HR will be responsible for, and have oversight for tasks including, but not limited to:
– Alignment of the HR function and customers to resolve issues, improve working relationships and retention.
– Execute and maintain people and performance processes.
– Being an aide for joint ventures for policy, talent capabilities and organisation strategy
– Implementation of departmental policies and procedures, while adhering to SHEQ policies.

You will need experience in a HR leadership position as well as a degree level qualification Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or any other related field.

Previous experience in the Oil & Gas industry and managing a large team is necessary.

A certification from an accredited institution is preferable but not required
