Business Development Manager – USA

Do you have a proven track record of success in maritime sales, solution selling, and client management?
  
As a Business Development Manager, you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth by managing and developing relationships with existing clients, while actively seeking new business opportunities in key markets in the USA.  
  
It’s likely you will be based in Louisiana, New Orleans, or Houston.  Other USA locations can also be considered.
  
You’ll need both “hunter” skills to acquire new clients and “farmer” skills to nurture and expand relationships with existing accounts in Singapore and the APAC region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage commercial relationships with both new and existing clients.
  • Proactively maintain high levels of service, identifying new business opportunities for growth.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets across all product lines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.
  • Drive business activity, including scheduling client meetings, maintaining a healthy sales pipeline, and reporting on revenue goals.
  • Understand the market and the needs of clients in safety-critical industries.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Meeting and exceeding sales revenue targets.
  • Consistent and high levels of sales activity.
  • Strong pipeline development and management.

We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in a maritime sales or business development role, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets in a B2B environment.
  • Experience with solution selling in maritime.
  • Familiarity with strategic selling techniques, including account planning, value proposition development, and long-term client growth strategies.
