You’ll help manage and improve key systems, processes, and data within a global shipping business. You’ll play a hands-on role in system administration, process mapping, and ensuring data quality, working directly with teams to drive better results through practical solutions for commercial shipping operations.
  
What You’ll Do
  
System Management

  • Take charge of the systems used in your area. You’ll handle configurations, workflows, and updates to improve how they work.
  • Train your colleagues on how to use these systems effectively.
  • Work with internal teams and software providers to implement changes or new tools.
  • Review system upgrades and decide how they could benefit the business.

Process Improvement

  • Assess current processes and find ways to make them more efficient.
  • Create and monitor metrics that show how well processes are working.
  • Make sure processes in your area align with others across the organisation.

Data Oversight

  • Manage the quality of data in your area and fix any issues.
  • Work with others to ensure data meets business needs and complies with retention policies.
  • Lead data cleansing and migration activities during system changes.

What You’ll Need

  • Commercial maritime operations knowledge.
  • Experience managing systems, including setting up workflows and troubleshooting issues.
  • Knowledge of process mapping and how data is used across workflows.
  • A strong focus on data quality and the ability to resolve data-related problems.
  • Good communication skills to explain systems and processes clearly.
  • Relevant certifications in business systems, process improvement, or data management are useful but not essential.
