Chartering Executive (Dry Bulk) – Dubai
 
We are seeking an experienced and driven Chartering Executive to join a Dry Bulk team in Dubai.
In this critical role, you will be responsible for identifying and capitalizing on profitable chartering opportunities in the spot market, negotiating favorable charter contracts, and optimizing vessel allocation.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze market trends, freight rates, and cargo demand to guide chartering strategies
• Negotiate and finalize advantageous charter contracts with shipowners and charterers
• Utilize market intelligence to make informed decisions on chartering opportunities
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with industry stakeholders
• Collaborate with operations and commercial teams for seamless charter execution
• Manage charter contracts adhering to legal and operational guidelines
• Stay up-to-date on regulations, trends, and best practices in chartering

Requirements:
 

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Commercial Shipping or related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar Chartering Executive role
• Solid understanding of the dry bulk shipping market, chartering, and operations
• Knowledge of accounts, post-fixture operations, and charter market contacts
• Excellent negotiation, coordination, and relationship-building skills
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions
• Commercial acumen and a results-driven approach
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and voyage estimation/management software
• Outstanding communication abilities, both written and verbal
