Spinnaker has partnered with a global ship management company for the hire of an experienced Disbursements Manager to join their London office on a fixed-term contract basis.
  
This role will hold the responsibility of checking and agreeing final disbursement accounts, monitoring vessel port calls and following up final disbursement accounts from agents and working closely with the Operations department for approvals and documentation requests.
  
To be successful in this position, you will bring with you experience of managing or performing the Disbursements function in a shipping company.
  
This is a leadership role, which will draw on your experience of supervising or managing junior professionals.
  
This is a position that will suit a candidate that is forward thinking, and able to identify and implement opportunities to improve processes within the Disbursements department.
  
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and ideally Microsoft Dynamics or experience of a financial ERP accounting system change, would be highly advantageous.
  
Existing UK working entitlement is essential for this position and candidates must be based within commutable distance of their office.
