You’ll lead the accounting team and drive financial efficiency of an international dry bulk shipowner based in New York.
  
As the Financial Controller, you’ll:

• Provide crucial financial updates to senior management, using data to support strategic decision-making.
• Implement and maintain strong financial controls, while developing and enforcing accounting policies and procedures across the company.
• Oversee budgets, revenue safeguards, and ensure consistent financial reporting.
• Lead our accounting team with dynamic leadership, fostering an environment of trust, collaboration, and productivity.

What You’ll Bring:

• 10+ years of accounting experience, with a strong understanding of financial data analysis.
• Expertise in financial project management and knowledge of tax regulations.
• A proven track record in guiding financial decisions and optimizing operational efficiency.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Chinese.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA certification and a degree in business or accounting.
• 5+ years of experience in a senior accounting or finance role.
• Experience in the maritime industry is a plus, but not mandatory.
