Global Reefer Business Development Manager – Singapore

Drive the strategic growth of reefer cargo operations. This Singapore-based role involves shaping and managing reefer business strategies while ensuring the smooth handling of temperature-sensitive cargo worldwide.

You’ll be responsible for sales and business development, account management, cross-selling, and upselling.
  
What You’ll Do

  • Develop new business and secure cargo sales.
  • Implement strategies for global reefer operations aligned with business goals.
  • Oversee commercial activities and global handling of reefer containers, working closely with regional offices.
  • Monitor market trends and customer requirements to improve service offerings.
  • Collaborate with trade, sales, and logistics teams to ensure efficient reefer cargo management.
  • Manage the reefer business budget, focusing on revenue and profitability.
  • Address insurance needs for high-value and sensitive shipments.
  • Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations for reefer cargo.
  • Lead and guide a team of professionals to meet business targets.

What You’ll Need

  • A bachelor’s degree in Maritime, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics, specifically with reefer operations.
  • A proven track record of managing and growing a reefer division, including P&L responsibility.
  • Strong understanding of international shipping and customs procedures for reefer cargo.
