Laytime Specialist – Hamburg/Lübeck
 
Our client; one of the world’s largest dry bulk shipping companies – are looking to expand their team of Laytime Analysts currently in locations of Hamburg and Lübeck.
 
Seeking individuals with prior shipping experience, holding a minimum of 3-years exposure to Laytime (dry Bulk), the successful candidate will be working in a team of experienced individuals.
 
Day-to-day responsbilities include;

• Responsible for the preparation, negotiation and finalisation of laytime calculations, assisting with the preparation and finalisation of statements of accounts too. 
• Handling the laytime claims and key accounts. 
• Holding close communication with in-house operations and commercial departments and co-operating with close business partners such as brokers, charterers and owners.
• Training of new team members after a successful integration period.

What makes YOU a suitable applicant;

• Holding prior or current shipping experience. 
• A minimum of 3-years exposure to Laytime (Dry Bulk).
• Adaptable team player, confident in a fast-paced environment.
• Confident negotiation skills, holding excellent verbal and written language fluency in English. 
• Good standard knowledge of MS Office package.
• SEDNA and VESON IMOS experience is an advantage.
