Our client, a shipping law firm in London, is seeking a qualified Solicitor to join the team in London. 
 
This is a new role due to growth in the team as the firm is very busy with litigation and arbitration cases created by their excellent long standing reputation in the shipping market.
 
You can expect high quality work and lots of repeat business from shipowners and P&I clubs. The majority of the work is dry shipping such as charterparty, offhire and demurrage disputes plus some admiralty work, including collisions, vessel breakdowns and incidents at sea. 
 
You will have autonomy to run your cases, so you’ll need to be a qualified solicitor in England and Wales with shipping disputes experience gained either at a law firm or P&I club. The the firm is open to all levels of experience; from junior to partner – and they offer excellent promotion opportunities through the ranks to equity partner.
