Tanker Broker – Greece/Dubai
 
We are seeking experienced Shipbrokers to join a dynamic and growing shipbroking firm specialising in the tanker sector. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in the chartering of tankers, particularly within the Clean Product (CPP) or Dirty Product (DPP) markets, although we also welcome experience in related segments such as Edible Oils and Chemicals. This role will involve cultivating client relationships, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful charter execution.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Expertise: Utilize your knowledge of CPP, DPP, Edible Oils, or Chemicals to identify and pursue chartering opportunities.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate freight rates and charter terms to secure favorable agreements for the company and its clients.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., operations, finance) to ensure seamless execution of charter agreements and compliance with company policies.
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized records of chartering activities, including contracts, correspondence, and market data.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in shipbroking, specifically in chartering within the tanker sector.
  • Network: Established network within CPP or DPP markets is essential; experience in Edible Oils or Chemicals will be considered a plus.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Analytical Abilities: Proficient in market research and data analysis to inform strategic decisions.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
