Based in a vibrant area near Holborn with excellent transport links, you’ll be working four days a week in the office, collaborating closely with senior management. Your key focus? Generating high-quality sales leads, empowering the team to close deals and expand market share within the finance, banking, and insurance sectors.
  
As the first Sales Development Lead, you’ll spearhead efforts to build conversations with potential clients, uncover new sales opportunities, and directly contribute to the company’s ambitious growth targets in this space. What You’ll Do

  • Lead Generation: Proactively identify and qualify new leads through market research, networking, cold outreach, and targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Targeting Opportunities: Research and approach potential clients and new markets, unlocking growth opportunities.
  • Client Engagement: Cultivate relationships with both new and existing clients, providing tailored solutions based on their needs.
  • Sales Strategy: Collaborate with senior leadership to shape and implement effective sales and growth strategies.
  • Industry Research: Stay on top of industry trends, competitor movements, and market shifts to drive impactful lead generation.
  • Event Outreach: Support marketing efforts around webinars, conferences, and industry events, ensuring strong follow-up with potential clients.

What We’re Looking For
  
You don’t need to have “Sales Development Lead” on your CV already—but you do need experience in finance, banking, or insurance. You might be a Sales Representative, Sales Executive, or Revenue Growth Lead, eager to make your next career move. Alternatively, you could be a Financial Analyst or Risk Analyst looking to pivot into sales, using your deep industry knowledge to succeed in a client-facing role.
  
Key Requirements

  • Proven experience within the finance, banking, or insurance sectors.
  • Strong communication skills and an aptitude for building relationships.
