Key Responsibilities:
Assist in tracking market trends by gathering data from brokers and market reports.
Support the team in reviewing and understanding market fixtures and contracts.
Help maintain commercial documentation and assist in preparing reports for management.
Coordinate with other departments to share necessary information about vessel port calls and employment opportunities.
Provide administrative support in fleet management, such as organizing contracts and ensuring all documentation is up to date.
Assist with monitoring/handling of Contracts of Affreightment (CoA) under supervision and Voyage / Time charter parties. 
  
Qualifications:
Education: Fluent in English; BSc graduate of relevant maritime studies (MSc in Shipping Studies or ICS graduate is a strong plus) 
  
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and comfort with numbers.
Software proficient (inhouse software, Danaos, MS Office).
Good communication and organizational skills.
  
Experience:
Experience in a commercial department within shipping company (in house or
competitive broker) for at least 1 year. 
Operations experience is a plus.
