Working with the executive leadership team you’ll head the finance team based in Hong Kong for this dry bulk shipping company.
 
As a Chartered Accountant you’ll hold directorships across the business, working with senior management on driving financial strategy, as well as specific projects including ERP implementation.
 
You’ll be experienced with vessel financing and debt raising, raising equity in a maritime environment would be an additional advantage. 
 
As the Financial Controller you have oversight and involvement with transfer pricing and taxation practices in both Hong Kong and for overseas offices.
 
As the financial leader for the business, you’ll manage the audit process, the relationship with external auditors and banks.  You’ll have a large team to support you in your goals, so prior management experience is required.
 
This position is based in Hong Kong, requiring you to live and work there, travel will also be required and expected.
 
While able to demonstrate your financial and accounting skills, you’ll also be able to show your ability to develop a close, and trusting working relationship with executive company leaders.
