We are looking to recruit a Marine Superintendent on behalf of our client, a growing offshore support vessel operator, based in the UAE for a 6 month contract.
In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the operational efficiency and effectiveness of marine operations and HSE matters for the fleet of DP2 OSVs under your control.
The right candidate for this position must have sailed as Master Mariner with a valid ticket and have some shore-based experience working in a similar role. Experience with vessels such as AHTS, PSV and/or OSV is required.
Candidates should already be based in the UAE and the package available will be circa AED 20,000 per month.
An international ship owner/operator based in the Middle East and are currently looking for a Commercial Operations Manager to join their expanding team.
You will be responsible for the overall vessel operations including pre- and post-fixture, optimizing efficiency, and you will be the key point of contact for the vessels’ master, charterers, port agents and other members of staff. You will also be required to resolve any issues as they arise.
To be considered for this role you will have sailed as a Master on VLCC, Suezmax or Aframax vessels and have experience in a similar role.

This position is working with Jack-Up Barges and is 6 weeks on, 6 weeks off.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Organising daily operations of the vessels

• Ensure maintenance of all equipment
• Maintain good safety standards on board

Suitable candidates should have:
• A good level of offshore experience as a Chief Mater or Master Mariner onboard Jack-Up Barges
• All standard offshore certifications (Huet/Bosiet, H2S, etc.)

We are currently working with an international ship owner in the dry bulk market who are looking for an experienced Freight Market Analyst to join their team in Dubai.
In this role you would be working in close coordination with the chartering team producing analysis in terms of supply/ demand, pricing that will underpin Charterer’s decisions.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a research or analytical background gained within the dry bulk market. You will also need to demonstrate commercial acumen and confidence to present to the Directors as well as strong interpersonal skills to work closely with the chartering division.

The focus of the role is to regulate, operate and manage the port, while overseeing a large team across the divisions, including marine pilots, VTS operators & supervisors, pilot supervisors, cargo admin and regulation officers.
Applications are welcomed from those who are highly experienced in a senior management role within the ports industry. You will have staff management experience and experience with a variety of vessels, port regulations, project management, risk management and safety regulations. The port receives a large number of vessels on an annual basis with various cargos; however, gas and chemical tanker experience could be advantageous.

Responsibilities will include assisting with day to day management of the purchasing program to include tracking and maintenance of all phases of the purchasing cycle. To be suitable for this role you will have previous experience in purchasing in a shipyard and be educated to degree level.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in crewing with preferably 5 years experience management experience. You will be responsible for reviewing crew related contracts, including budgeting and identifying cost saving strategies. You will also monitor trends and cause of accidents and incidents, developing company strategy to reduce occurrences. You will also be responsible for training seafarers in relation to accidents and monitoring labour market conditions.
Experience in a similar role will be ideal, along with strong management skills and an up to date knowledge of maritime labour laws.
